For Fujifilm Argusi conducted a detailed analysis of its European network based on customers demand and product characteristics. The first challenge was gathering data from different ERP-systems per unit and per country. By gathering the data systematically, validating, enriching and saving it in a central database we could added substantial value and created a strong basis for the optimization study. Next, we modeled the European structure in LogicNet Plus XE. We calculated several scenarios focused on reducing the complexity and rationalizing the production and supply chain. We paid attention in defining the right detail level and the right product hierarchy. Eventually, the project resulted in a new logistic network structure conform client demand and product characteristics.
