Bas is founder and managing partner of Argusi. He started his career in the food-service before he started Argusi together with Frans Cruijssen in 2007. He was managing director at Kirkman Company, a strategic sourcing consultancy. He finished his PhD on supply chain partnerships and network design at the Delft University of Technology (Cum Laude) and completed an Executive Program at the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1998. Next to his position at Argusi he was in the board of I+Solutions and still lectures at TiasNimbas business school. He is author of the book From Strategy to Structure and specializes in network design, benchmarking, and outsourcing.
Menno is Senior Supply Chain Analyst at Argusi. He is passionate about supply chain management, quantitative modelling and optimization. His ambition is to embed supply chain network optimization in organizations as a core process. By providing insightful analysis and training. Enabling organizations to adapt and improve their supply chains themselves, continuously. Menno started his career as logistics advisor at TNO Logistics and Transport after his studies at Wageningen University on Operations Research and Systems Engineering. He has also worked as Senior Supply Chain Consultant/Trainer at Involvation and as Manager Operations at CEVA Logistics, where he was P&L responsible for the global supply chain operations for several international clients.
Marlies is Product Developer at Argusi. After her studies Econometrics and Operations Research at the University of Tilburg (cum laude), Marlies has worked as logistics consultant and as software developer. After several years of business experience, she has conducted a PhD study at the University of Wageningen. Her research was aimed at design of a logistics network for the European floricultural sector, thereby considering the perishability of the products. Her research provided insights in the interplay between different strategic and tactical decisions. The variety of experiences has contributed to the expertise of Marlies: integration of network design and network control, integration of optimization and simulation and software development.
Nadine is Marketing Specialist at Argusi. She is an all-round Marketing & Communications professional with a passion for innovation. She is well experienced in building brands based on a product leadership strategy. She prefers to work with the customer journey, where customer experience is key. With her natural enthusiasm, out-of-the-box mentality and critical view on things, she delivers creative and meaningful solutions. Nadine likes to work in close collaboration with her colleagues on a uniform, practical and bold marketing approach. Her personal credo is: ‘Yes, let’s do this!’. March 2019 Nadine has started working for Argusi.
Brenda is Data Scientist at Argusi. After completing her masters in Econometrics and Operations Research at the University of Tilburg, she started as a Retirement Consultant at a predecessor of Willis Towers Watson. At the same time, she specialized in actuarial through obtaining a Minor Actuarial at the University of Amsterdam and a postdoctoral at the Actuarial Institute. She gained her further work experience in the field of actuarial, risk management and balance management within large insurers (Achmea and a.s.r.). Brenda gets energy from solving complex issues where she must deal with large amounts of information and different people with their own viewpoints and experiences.
Joris is finishing his study Food Quality Management at Wageningen University. To complete his master specialisation Food Quality & Logistics he is writing his thesis at Argusi. By using quantitative analysis methods, he wants to reduce the emission of greenhouse gasses. During his studies Joris found out that his passion is in logistics. That is why he took some extra courses in which logistic problem solving in the food sector is applied. Using models for complex calculations, in which actual savings are achieved, is what motivates him the most.

Educated in Econometrics, Food Technology, Technical Business, Marketing Communication, Consumer Studies, Operations Research & Logistics. We combine a wide range of experiences and we are very proud of this background. We are constantly trying to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
